Toy Project Presentations

Discussion on using the Science Notebook. Student will receive worksheets that they can cut and paste into their science notebook. This will replace the section review questions.
The left side will be for the notes and the right side will be reserved for drawings, labs, sketches, etc.

Students received a copy of page 66 to cut and paste into science notebook. Reading of Chapter 5.2 should assist with answering the questions.

In Manufacturing and Design Journal we answered page 21 with the natural resource of wood or timber. Students should research what is involved in the "Harvesting" of lumber and describe the process on page 21. Homework

We discussed and completed page 25 in class on the Inputs and Outputs Diagram.

Students should review page 23 and 24 and start to write down how the creation of their toy could affect natural resources. Homework

In class we started Chapter 5 on Energy.  Table group mapping activity where the topics of energy are theme park lands. Its a fun and visual way to map the chapter.
